Hotshot Firefighter Kevin J. Woyjeck Memorial Highway
On October 13, 2016, I attended an event that was held outside the Seal Beach Fire Station No. 48. A highway memorial sign was dedicated to the memory of Kevin J. Woyjeck, a member of the Granite Mountain Hotshot Crew who was killed in the line of duty while battling a wildfire in Yarnell, Arizona on June 30, 2013. He was only 21-years-old. Grand Re-Opening of the Nixon Library!
Last Friday, October 14th, I was lucky enough to attend the Grand Re-Opening of the Richard Nixon Presidential Library and Museum! It was great to connect with former CA Governor Pete Wilson, Craig Young, Tara Campbell, Hon. Fred Whitaker, Supervisor Todd Spitzer and Congressman Ed Royce. I took a mini-tour and can't wait to return for a docent-guided tour. This library is truly something special; program begins soon!
